Donna Bongiovanni, 57, of North Charleston, wife of Peter Bongiovanni died Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Hospice Center of Charleston.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6 until 8:00 Thursday evening and from 10:00 until the hour of service on Friday.

Donna was born August 11, 1951 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, daughter of the late Albert and Rita Masterson Opperman. She was a graduate of Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School in Clark, New Jersey. She was a member of the Coosaw Creek Country Club. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

3 daughters: Kelly Quick and her husband Mike of Summerville
Karrie Lambright and her husband Ray of Summerville and Kristy Geoghan and her husband Donny of Hazlet, New Jersey.
6 grandchildren: Jared and Jada Lambright of Summerville, Lila and Michael Quick of Summerville, Peter and Colin Geoghan of Hazlet, New Jersey.
3 brothers: Ziggy Opperman and his wife Donna of Hillsborough, New Jersey. Greg Opperman and his wife Gwen of Cranford, New Jersey, Bill Opperman and his wife Tammy of Stewartsville, New Jersey.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother: Alby Opperman.
