Hamel, Genevieve M. (Norton) of Quincy, formerly of Methuen January 26, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Armand A. Hamel. Devoted mother of Armand Hamel, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Quincy and Brother Andre J. Hamel, MS of Hartford, CT. Cherished Nana of 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and the late Paul Hamel.
Genevieve was born in Lawrence and lived in Methuen until moving to Quincy 27 years ago. She enjoyed crafts, quilting and crocheting. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 9:15 AM
Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday 4- 8 PM.
Burial in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Quincy.
