Romeo Sanchito Murray was born on December 23, 1991 in Malden, Massachusetts. He exited this life on January 17, 2009. Romeo was a student at Malden High School where he was the Captain of the 9th grade football team and loved math. Romeo was an unsung, talented artist and his artwork will be treasured by his family and friends.
Romeo's family, especially his grandmother, always referred to him as "Little Mr. Sunshine". His smile and sunny disposition was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Among those who remain to celebrated his living are: mothe-Stephanie Cash; father- Anthony Murray; surrogate mother- Wanda Cook; brothers- Kenneth, Damien, Alexander and Marqius; great grandmother- Irie Edwards; grandmothers Ethlyn Cash and Dorothy Murray; grandfathers- Samuel Murray and Rev. John Edwards; niece- Kylee Cash; special spiritual individuals- Kieva Cook and Josiah Hill; as well as a host of relatives, friends, teachers and fellow students.
Visiting hours will be held in the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street (Maplewood Square) on Thursday evening from 4-8 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday morning, January 23rd at 11 AM in Forestdale Cemetery, 150 Forest Street, Malden (Those attending are asked to gather inside the front gate of the cemetery at 10:45).
