Obituary

Francis W. St. Jean, 82, of Manchester died May 19, 2003, at Catholic Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Born on June 23, 1920, he was the son of Arthur and Alvina (Gouin) St. Jean.

Mr. St. Jean had worked for many years as a laborer at the former Chicopee Mills in Manchester.

He had served for many years as an usher at St. George Parish, in Manchester. He was a member of the League of One Thousand Men of the Precious Blood. He was a member of St. Raphael Parish in Manchester.

Mr. St. Jean was at one time one of the largest model train enthusiasts in the area.

Family members include his wife of 56 years, Viola (Morrissette) St. Jean, of Manchester; 2 daughters, Diane Ritter, and Suzanne Moore, both of Manchester; 2 sons, Francis(Skip) St. Jean, of Hooksett, Richard St Jean, of Manchester; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated, Thursday, May 22 at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St. Manchester.

Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.

Memorial donations may be made to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., and Manchester.
