
Rita L. (Lessard) DiPasqua, 90 years of Brockton, died Monday, January 19, 2009, surrounded by her family, at the Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Albert J. DiPasqua. Born in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Martin) Lessard. She was a lifelong resident of the city, was educated in the Brockton School System and worked for many years in the shoe industry.
Rita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and bowling with her friends.
She is survived by two sons, James DiPasqua and his wife Mary Anne of Estero, Florida, Leonard DiPasqua and his wife Patricia of Mattapoisett and her daughter Leona Clark of Bow, New Hampshire; two granddaughters Annmarie Weeks and her husband Jeffrey, Michelle Sheehan and her husband Thomas; two grandsons, Albert DiPasqua and his wife Pamela and James DiPasqua; five great grandchildren, Stephen Brennick, Patrick Sheehan, Katie and Evan Weeks and Halle DiPasqua. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Eva Rose Patnaude.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Monday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5pm.
