Harvey Lewis of Stoneham died on January 22, 2009 suddenly at the Boston Medical Center at 66 years old. Harvey was the beloved husband of 45 years to Binnie Lewis.
Harvey was born in Everett and attended the Medford school system. He was a scrap metal dealer and principal owner of Philip Lewis and Sons Scrap Metal. Harvey was a member of the Mount Scopus Masonic Lodge in Malden, MA and also a member of Temple Shalom of Medford. In his spare time, he was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking and doting on his grandchildren.
Harvey was the devoted father of Jay Lewis and his late wife, Pamela Lewis, and Lisa Lewis and her future husband, Brad Goodman. He was the loving grandfather of Amanda and Joshua Lewis. Services at Temple Shalom of Medford, 475 Winthrop Street, Medford on Sunday, January 25th at 11:00 AM. Interment in Peabody. Memorial observance will be private.
