Jean Ann Brezden, 65, of Summerville, wife of Pete J. Brezden died Wednesday morning, January 21, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11 o’clock at Dorchester Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private. Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o’clock Friday evening.

Mrs. Brezden was born August 17, 1943 in Logan, West Virginia, daughter of the late Gene S. White and Norma Burger White. She received her PhD from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She made one B in all her college years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed church. She taught in Cabell County Schools in West Virginia. She wrote the goals for school funding in Lincoln County, West Virginia, and she taught at College Park Elementary in Berkeley County, SC. She was a member of Dorchester Presbyterian Church.

Adopted Daughter: Tami Galloway of Summerville
2 grandsons: Jonathan and Eber both of Summerville
Brother: John White of Beckley, West Virginia
Sister: Virginia Leiptz of Downey, California
