New Bedford- Rudy B. Goulart aged 29, died Sunday January 18, 2009 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the Beloved son of John & Manuela (Santos) Goulart of New Bedford. Rudy was the brother of Margaret De Sousa of New Bedford. Mr. Goulart was the grandson of Carolina Neves of New Bedford. The nephew of Paul husband of Laura dos Santos of New Bedford and Odete and her husband Joseph Nobre of New Orleans and Cecilia Hadden of New Bedford. He was a very good companion of Paula Baptista of New Bedford.
Rudy lived in this area all his life. He was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational High School. He was formerly employed at Barry Volkswagen as a Salesman
Mr. Goulart’s funeral will be Saturday at Perry Funeral home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St John the Baptist Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4-8 P.M.
