Abraham M. Goldman of Chelsea passed away on Jan. 19, 2009 at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, he was 92 years old. Born in Chelsea he was a resident of Chelsea all of his life. Abraham attended Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School. He retired from Western Union where he worked as a telegram deliver. He was also a professional dancer and ice skater.
Abraham was the husband of the late Helen Goldman. He is the dear brother of Gertrude G. Eyges and the late Jack Goldman, William Goldman, Edward Goldman, and Rebecca Saxe. Abraham is also survived by nephews.
Abraham was also a World War Two Navy veteran and a member of the Elks Club in Revere. Graveside Services are Wednesday Jan. 21, at 12 Noon at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Donations in his memory may be made to the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home Foundation, 17 Lafayette Ave. Chelsea, MA 02150.
