Obituary

Edward Alfred Galletti, age 88, passed away on January 19th at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Florida. He was born August 26th, 1920 in Plymouth, to the late Alfred and Eva Galletti. He attended Kingston High School and served in the US Navy during World War II. On November 3,1944, he was united in marriage to Bernice Rovatti of Plymouth.

Mr. Galletti was a Milk Man for White Brothers Dairy for twenty five years. He also worked at Haliday Lithographs as a dispatcher. In 1987, Edward and Bernice moved from Kingston to Lakeland Florida where he enjoyed 22 years of retirement. He was a member of Saint Anthony's Church in Lakeland Florida.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice , his son Darryl and his wife Debra of Plymouth, his daughter Andrea and her husband Bradley Chisholm of St Cloud, Florida, his grandson, Scott Galletti and his wife Audrey along with a great grandson Thomas Edward Galletti of Spring Lake, NJ, his grandson Todd and wife Kristen of Timonium,MD, his granddaughter, Jill Balboni of Plymouth; two brothers, the late Wilfred Galletti of Kingston and his brother Thomas Galletti and wife Suzanne of Kingston; four si sters, Aurelia Rezendes of Plymouth, Alice Tavares and her husband Gilbert of Plymouth, Lucille Anti of Plymouth, and Virginia White of Westerly, RI. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 24th at St Mary's Church in Plymouth at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery.Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Friday January 23rd from 7 to 9 PM.
