Mrs. Frances R. (Lowrie) Simard of Haverhill, died at the Baker Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill on Saturday, December, 27, 2008. She was 66 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Simard.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, on April 22, 1942, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Vallely) Lowrie. Mrs. Simard was the sister of Bernard and his wife Anne Lowrie of Wakefield, England, Michael and his wife Rose Lowrie of Glasgow, Scotland, Josephine and her husband Andrew Stevenson of Glasgow, Scotland, Geraldine Cassidy of Glasgow, Scotland and Veronica and her husband Joseph Rheaume of Salem, New Hampshire. Frances is also survived by her caregivers and nephew; Paul Rheaume and Shirley Narbonne of Salem, New Hampshire. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, one great-niece and several great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Marie Martin, Elizabeth Marlin and John and James Lowrie.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10 AM. Calling hours were, Tuesday, December 30, 2008, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
