DIGHTON – Alice F. (Mendoza) Reposa, wife of the late John R. Reposa, died at her Dighton home on Jan. 18, 2009.
She was 81.
Born in Raynham, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Marie (Lawrence Homen) Mendoza.
Educated in Raynham and E. Taunton schools, she worked as a waitress at Bucky’s Diner for over 11 years and for Texas Instruments for 4 years.
She leaves her companion, William F. Harrison of Dighton; 2 sons, John J. Reposa of Taunton and James R. Reposa of Lakeville; 3 daughters, Rosemary Williams of Middleboro, Ann McCaffrey of Abbot, ME, and Laurie Jones of Taunton; 2 sisters, Esther Giovanoni of Taunton and Elsie Leanues of E. Taunton; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Beverly J. Bedard and Cynthia Smith, and the sister of the late Frank, John, Joseph, and Manuel Mendoza, Mary White, and Palmeda Ziomek.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Wednesday, Jan. 21st at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be on Tuesday, Jan. 20th from 5 to 8 p.m.
