Obituary

Mr. Albert Gregory, age 84, of Woburn formerly of Reading and Somerville, died January 17th following a short illness. He was the beloved husband of Helen C. (Harbison) and together they shared 64 years of marriage. Born in Somerville he was the son of the late Dora (DiNapoli).

Mr. Gregory was a World War II Army Air Corp. Veteran and proudly served from 1943 to 1945. He was a retired general foreman for the M.D.C and worked there for many years. He also worked as a cook for a number years in Somerville. Born and raised in Somerville he enjoyed being at home and caring for his devoted wife and family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a member of the V.F.W.

In addition to his wife Helen, he is survived by his daughter Nancy Lynch and her husband Harvey, and his son James W. Gregory and his wife Janine, all of Woburn. He was the loving grandfather of Pamela LaVita, Mark, Kevin and Brian Lynch, Marissa and Sophia Gregory and is also survived by ten loving great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother, Charles Gregory of Somerville, and sisters, Grace Alosso of Medford and Marie Liotine of Reading. In addition to his mother he is predeceased by his brothers, the late Anthony, Joseph and Patrick Gregory.

His funeral will be conducted from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Albert's memory to the charity of ones choice.
