Obituary

Doris T. (Nippert) Bellemare, 80, of Manchester, died January 16, 2009 after a long and happy life.
She was born on October 27, 1928 in Manchester, one of fourteen children, to Ephrem and Doria (Champagne) Dube.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a stitcher and supervisor at Manchester Knitted Fashions. She served as a volunteer at the Elliot Hospital for 20 years.
Doris enjoyed sewing and crafts as well as making beautiful handmade gifts for all to enjoy. She enjoyed playing cards and games with her friends at the Edward J. Roy apartments, where she had resided for the past 15 years. Being with friends and family was the highlight of her day.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert E. Nippert in 1964 and her second husband, Hervey “Bill” T. Bellemare in 1979.
She loved Nascar, Engelbert Humperdinck, Perry Mason, lobster rolls, cherry chocolates, and a good hot fudge sundae. She was an avid bowler and rollerskater back in the day.
She leaves her loving children (The Lucky Seven!), Joan Baillie and her husband Rick of Pennsville, NJ, Sue Nippert of Pennsville, NJ, Ted Nippert and his wife Liz of Norton, MA, Carol Nippert of Washington, DC, Jackie Livsey of Manchester, Bob Nippert and his wife Kris of Salem, NH, and Lee Bellemare and his wife Joy of Jacksonville, FL. Doris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Charlene, Missy, Sheri, Jonathan, Jenna, Christine, Stephanie, Brian, Katie, and Christopher and her great-grandchildren Jordan, Makayla, Marcus, Evan, Jasmine, and Hailey. She is also survived by four siblings, Renald Dube of Manchester, Emile Dube of Bedford, Grace Martel of Oshkosh, WI, and Constance Lemieux of Manchester; many nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
A Mass of Christian burial and celebration of her life was held Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belmont St, Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
