Jeremy Michael Russell 23, died unexpectedly Thursday January 15th.
Born in Weymouth he was the beloved son of Michael and Deborah (Blake) Russell of Abington.
Jeremy was a life long resident of Abington and a graduate of Abington High where he was the President of his graduating Class of 2004. He was very athletic and was a member of the football team and the track team for all fours years. He was a member of the Green Wave Football Team that made school history by becoming the first team to attain a “Super Bowl” victory.
He was currently employed by the Horizon Beverage Company in Avon and had worked for three years as a bar back at the Abington Ale House.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother Joshua Russell and his fiancée Kimberly Franey of Abington, his grandparents Otis and Glennis Russell of Walpole, and Chuck and Marian Blake of Bernardston, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend Jessica Mihal of Abington.
His funeral will be held Wednesday January 21st at 9:45 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, followed by a service at 10:30 AM in the St. Bridget Church, Abington. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday January 20th from 5-9 PM. Donations in his name may be made to New Hope TSS 61 Redfield Road, S.
