GRIFFIN, Marie I. (Tryder)- Of East Boston, formerly of Chelsea, January 13th. Devoted wife of the late John J. Griffin. Beloved mother of Rose Marie Scenna and her husband Artie of Everett, George Nolan and his wife Rani of East Kingston, New Hampshire, Bobby Nolan and his wife Maria of Newton and Johnna Atkins and her husband Tony of Winthrop. Dear sister of John Tryder of Chelsea, James Tryder of Reading, Anna Berner of Andover, Robert Tryder of Reading and the late Dorothy Brosseau, William Tryder, Mildred Diomede and Evelyn Robichaud. Cherished grandmother of George, Jodi, Michael S., Mark, Anthony, Jason, Michael and Jordan. Also lovingly survived by her great grandchildren, Jacqulyn, John, Nick, Cameron and Lukas as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday morning, January 20th at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA at 12:45 PM. Born in Chelsea and recieving her education in the Chelsea Schools, Marie, at 76 years of age passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a short illness. A resident of East Boston since 1979, Marie was devoted and loved by her family and friends.
