Principe, Joseph of Jamaica Plain, January 13, 2009 at his home at the age of 89. Joseph was born in Bristol, RI. Son of the late Michael & Filomena (Puiia) Principe. Husband of the late Eleanor Principe. Father of the late Elizabeth Principe. Brother of John Principe of East Boston, Sue Del Greco and Carmella Caliri both of New Hamphshire, the late Anthony Principe, Marie Nesbitt and Elvira Santaniello. Also survived by his sister in law, Mildred Benersani of Jamaica Plain as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral from the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) JAMAICA PLAIN on Saturday January 17 at 9:15 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Interment St. Michael Cemetery. Employed as a chef and restaurant manager at M.I.T. for 33 years where he enjoyed cooking for the many students. Recipient of the Edward S. Daly Award and elected Member of the Year 1964 of the Epicurean Club of Boston. Member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus, East Boston and faithful trustee of the Bishop Cheverus Assembly of Boston and Cambridge.
