Danny DeWayne Hightower, 46, Clarksville, died Monday, January 12, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 12:30 P.M. Friday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Allen officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born October 25, 1962 in Elkton, KY. Mr. Hightower was a salesman for the Montgomery County Farmers Co-op and was a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Hightower; a son, Daniel Hightower and his wife Leslie, Clarksville; mother, Elsie Shemwell, Sharon Grove, KY; brothers, Billy Hightower and Wayne Winders both of Sharon Grove, KY; sisters, Janie Fowler, Elkton, KY; and Donna Jenkins, Clifty, KY. He was preceded in death by his step-father Larry Winders. Pallbearers will be Reed Baldwin, Jerry Baldwin, Ray Morris, Steven Allensworth, Wes Foster and James P'Pool.
