Shirley Anne Sousa, 60, died January 9, 2009 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on October 9, 1948, the daughter of John and Eva (Lemay) Sousa. She was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Manchester High School West.
Shirley loved reading, gardening, and making crafts.
Members of her family include her parents, John and Eva Sousa of Manchester; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Linda) Nelson of Clearwater, FL; nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She is also survived by her dear friends, Dottie and Malcolm “Mac” Morgrage.
The funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Bethany Chapel Community Church, 54 Newbury Road, Manchester. Urn burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
