Joseph A. DeBiase, 81 of Medford, died Sunday after a long illness in the Wingate at Andover, Andover, MA.
Born in Medford, he lived all his life here and was the son of the late Concetta (Brigandi) and Enrico DeBiase. Joseph was a Tailor at the former GCC Uniform Company in Boston for 20 years and retired in 1978. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947. Beloved husband of the late Rita (More) DeBiase. Devoted father of Joseph DeBiase of Andover, Karen McLaughlin of Billerica, Laurie Gross of Haverhill, Michael DeBiase of Medford and Tina DeBiase of Tewksbury. Also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and 1 loving great grandson. Brother of Rita Russo of West Yarmouth and the late Mary Melaragni and Eleanor Zucchi. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
