Cora A. (Julian) Mather, 58 years of age, North Easton, died unexpectedly Saturday January 10, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton. She was the loving and devoted wife of Ronald J. Mather.
Born and raised in Cambridge, a daughter of the late William and Ivy (Simms) Julian, Cora had resided in Easton for the past 27 years. Previously, she had lived in Brockton. Cora was the CEO of Rico Sales Inc. in Easton.
Cora enjoyed travel, especially cruises, reading, and computer games. She had belonged to a shuffle board league in Brockton during the 1980s. She had been a longtime member of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church. Cora will be remembered as a caring and giving person who was happiest when in the presence of her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three devoted daughters Dawn D. Lifrieri of Tampa, FL; Laura S. Kane of Brockton; and Julie E. Richard of Easton.
She was the loving grandmother of Christopher and Brittany Lifrieri; Danielle, Rachel and Peter Kane; Brianna Leal; and Kaylie Richard. She is also survived by her brothers and sister James Julian of Brockton; Leslie Julian of Berkley, CA; Shirley LeFave of Leesburg, FL; several nieces and nephews; and her lifelong best friend Marlene Morrison of West Bridgewater.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9 am. The Service of the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 North Main Street, Brockton at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 3-7 pm with an Incense Service at 6:30 pm.
