BROOKSVILLE, FL – Ronald A. Rose, husband of Linda L. (Aldrich) Rose, died at Citrus Memorial Hospital,
Inverness, FL, on Jan. 9, 2009.
A resident of Brooksville, FL, he was 67.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Margaret (Silva) Rose.
A former resident of Raynham, he was educated in Taunton and Raynham schools.
An employee of the former General Work Clothes of E. Taunton, he later established his own company, Industrial Laundry.
A connoisseur of classic cars, he subsequently worked as a self-employed manufacturer of aircraft polishing equipment, and as a mechanic for Armand’s Garage in Taunton.
He later moved to Florida, after retiring in 2004.
A former communicant of St. Ann Church in Raynham, he was currently attending St. Frances Cabrini Church in Springhill, FL.
Besides his wife, he leaves 2 sons, Todd J. Rose and Heidi of Edmond, OK and Dean E. Rose of Schaumburg, IL; a daughter, Debra E. Goenner of Becker, MN; a sister, Julie Pike of Raynham; 4 grandchildren, Katie L. and Nicholas J. Rose, both of Edmond, OK and Mary R. and Kyle J. Goenner, both of Becker, MN; a niece, Mary Campbell of Fairfax, VA; and a nephew, Robert Pike of Raynham.
He was also the brother of the late Cheri L. McQuinn.
Graveside Services will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton on Saturday, March 14th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will be receiving visitors on Friday, March 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton.
