BURKS, JUANITA, 88, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009.
She was part owner of the old Discount Mobile Homes, a member of Louisville Kennel Club, American Boxer Club, Bluegrass Boxer Club, Charter Member of Southern Indiana Kennel Club, and Embury United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William H. Burks.
Survivors include her brothers, Glenn H. Burks, Thomas M. Burks, and Dewey S. Burks; and Rebecca Blevins, who cared for her.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to donor's favorite charity.
