Mrs. Antonette Caterina (Mastromarino) Marino, beloved wife of the late Louis Joseph Marino, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on Thursday, January 8, 2009. She was 93 years old.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 12, 1915, the beloved daughter of the late Federico and Maria (Picardi) Mastromarino. Antonette was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook. In her spare time she loved to travel all over the world. Most of all, she was a very devoted wife to her beloved husband, Louis.
She will be sorely missed by her loving niece and nephews; Marla T. Demba of Concord, Carl F. Mastromarino of Medford, John F. Mastromarino of Redondo Beach, California and Paul Gobbeo of Cripple Creek, Colorado, one-great niece, Kyla Eastman of Texas and one great-nephew; Noel Eastman of Concord.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at 10:30 AM. Many relatives and friends were in attendance. Visiting hours were held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Monday, January 12, 2009, form 5 to 8 PM. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
