John Brennan, 71, passed away on January 11th, 2009 at the Beverly Hospital. He was born in Everett on May 8th, 1937 to his parents John Brennan and Constance B. Kucharzyk. John was raised and educated in Everett and is a graduate of Everett High School. Shortly after graduation, he moved to California and established the Hollywood Electric Supply Company, serving the company as President for over 40 years. John lived in the Malibu Beach Area of California before his return to Massachusetts 4 years ago. He is survived by his siblings, Judith Catino of Melrose, Robert Kucharzyk of Stoneham, Marylou DeMattia of Ipswich and Richard Kucharzyk of Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and many grandnieces. Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his brother James Kucharzyk. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday January 14th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday January 13th from 4-8 PM.
