Obituary


Jesup- Mrs. Thera Darley Graham, 82, of Jesup died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at her residence under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.

She was born in Brunswick and had lived in Jesup for 54 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jesup and the Faithful Sunday School Class. She was a Homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy W. Graham.

Surviving are one daughter, Pam Hanks of Statesboro; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Graham of Jesup; one sister, Grace Kinsey of Statenville; one brother, Jeff Darley of Jesup; an aunt, Annie Lou Purvis of Pooler; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2009 from the Howard-Jones-Nobles Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 11, 2009 from the Calvary Baptist Church in Jesup with Reverend Vann Dempsey and Reverend Stanley Todd officiating.
Active Pallbearers will be Harold Paul, Bill Tyre, Robert Elliott, Paul Kinsey, Timmy Boatwright and Lance Darley. Honorary pallbearers will be the Faithful Sunday School Class.

Burial will follow in the George Cemetery.
