Josephine A. “Josie” Cirmia, 75 of Medford died Tuesday unexpectedly in the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital Melrose, MA.
Born in East Boston, she lived in Medford for the past 39 years and was the daughter of the late Peter and Giovanna (Cammarata) Montalto.
Josephine was a Dinning Hall Server at Tufts University in Medford for 10 years and retired in 1993.
Beloved wife of Mauro Cirmia. Devoted mother of Marie Capone and her husband Albert of Wilmington. Loving grandmother of Anthony and Victoria Capone. Sister of Joseph and Peter Montalto both of Somerville, and the late William Montalto.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
