BARATTA, Selma “Zel” (nee: Rodnon) age 82 of Leonia, NJ died Tuesday January 6, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Alfred A. Devoted mother of Wendy and Leslie Zellea, Robin Breslin & husband Joseph. Her stepchildren also survive her: Mark, Lise, Davis, Dana. She will be missed by her nephew Peter and nieces Laurel and Dorothy. Zel was a loyal and faithful friend of Bill W. for 37 years. She was an accomplished teacher with a true passion for directing young lives and taught at Westwood Regional School District, NJ for 37+ years. Zel had a genuine and lifelong commitment to service. Funeral arrangements: Volk Leber Funeral Home – 789 Teaneck Road – Teaneck, NJ. Family will have visitation this Friday at 2-4 and 7-9PM.
