Obituary

Lucy (Saster) Molloy, 87 of Franklin died January 6 in her home. She was the wife of the late James A. Molloy who died in 1998.
Born in Franklin, August 12, 1921, the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Nasuti) Saster, Mrs. Molloy was a lifelong Franklin resident.
A homemaker, Mrs. Molloy was active in the Widows and Friends program at the Franklin Senior Center.
She enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Cramb of West Ossipee, NH, Sally Ann Hart of N. Easton and Vincent Molloy of Franklin.
She is also survived by her sister, Mary Cheli of Franklin and brothers, Joseph Saster of East Douglas and Fred “Butch” Saster of Franklin.
She was the sister of the late Rose Crothers and Anthony and John Saster.
Mrs. Molloy is also survived by her grandchildren, James Cramb, Vincent and Robert Molloy, Patricia Zimmerman, Heather O’Connell, Jennifer Ierardo, and Rachel Dahlbeck and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was the grandmother of the late Curtis Cramb.
Private services will be held on Friday, January 9 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Make a Wish Foundation of Mass, One Bullfinch Place, Second Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
