Mrs. Mildred E. (Schruender) Dimlich, 96, of Pocasset, Massachusetts, formerly of Andover, MA., passed away on Thursday, January 1st, 2009 at her home.
She was born in North Andover, Massachusetts and was educated in the local schools. Mrs. Dimlich was a graduate of Johnson High School in North Andover, MA., Possenissen College in Boston, MA., and Salem State College where she received her B.S. Degree. She taught physical education at the North Andover High School, then became a guidance counselor at Atkinson Middle School in North Andover, MA.
She was a member of the St. John's Women's Guild, Pocasset Golf Club, Nautical Twirlers on the Cape, the Aptucxet Garden Club and the Massachusetts Retired Teachers Association.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 9th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint John the Evangelist Church, 841 Shore Road, Pocasset, Massachusetts.
Burial will follow at the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover, MA.
