Obituary

Antonette D. Curro, 81 of Londonderry, NH died Saturday January 3, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Curro was born in Boston, MA on May 31, 1927 daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Ste. Charles) Malzone. She previously lived in Melrose, MA for 42 years, moving to Londonderry 12 years ago so that she could be closer to her grandchildren. She was employed as a cafeteria food server for the Northeast Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield, MA for more than 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry where she was a member of the Women’s Guild. She was also a member of the Women’s Guild at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield. In addition to spending time with and entertaining her family, she enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting and making fried dough.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph A. Curro of Londonderry, two sons, Peter Curro and his wife Barbara of Londonderry, Vincent Curro and his wife Jeannine of Londonderry, four grandchildren, Joseph Curro, James Curro, Laura Curro and Nicholas Curro all of Londonderry, one brother, Frank Malzone of Reading, MA, one sister, Helen Sulprizio of Van Nuys, CA, also several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Monday January 5, 2009 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial will be in the spring in Glenwood Cemetery, Londonderry.
