Roland J. Richard, 84, of Salem, NH, died Friday at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry, NH.
Roland was born and educated in Methuen, MA. He was a resident of Salem, NH for 44 years.
Roland had worked for Butcher Boy Market in North Andover, MA for many years. He was a US Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. Roland was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church & VFW Post # 8546 in Salem, NH. He enjoyed fishing and horses.
Roland was predeceased by his wife Theresa (Cormier) Richard, his daughter Donna Olsen, and his grandsons Brock & Andy Soly.

Daughter: Joyce Hopper of NH

Calling hours will be Monday, Jan. 5 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
