Cecil Rondel Davis 74 of Louisville passed away Tuesday December 30, 2008 at his home.
He was a native of Muhlenberg Co. worked for the old Banner Transfer and C.W. Transport Co. and also retired from the Local # 89.
He is preceded in death by his parents, several brothers & sisters, and a beloved grandson Michael.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Martha Britton Davis, 5 children; Kenny Brookshire (Barbara), Ronda Candy Geer (Ricky), Ronnie Davis, Donna Watson (Mike), Jerry Davis (Laura), and a step-son Scott D. Britton. 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister Shirley Tackett.
His funeral service will be Friday 2pm at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Visitation will be Thursday 3pm to 8pm and after 10 am on Friday.
Cremation was chosen.
