Eunice R. (White) Power 91 a lifelong resident of Whitman died peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on January 1st. She was the beloved wife of the late Clayton H. Power.
Born March 9, 1917 at home on George Street in Whitman, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Bertha (Pierce) White.
She was a graduate of Whitman High Class of 1935, and later went to work for over thirty years at the USM Corporation of Whitman. She was a lifelong communicant of the Holy Ghost Church.
Eunice found her greatest joy in the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as following their many activities.
She is survived by her loving daughters Maureen Winning and her husband Edward of Groveland, Karen Lozzi and her husband Dennis of Halifax, Denise Robillard and her husband Daniel of Whitman and Nancy Power of Whitman, her sister Lillian Colarusso of Whittier Calf. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three sisters Marie English, Priscilla Packard, and Virginia Mercurio and her two brothers V. Arnold White, and Clifford White II.
Her funeral service will be held Monday January 5th at 10 AM in the Holy Ghost Church, School Street, Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman. Visiting hours will be held Sunday January 4th from 2-6 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman.
