Bruce Dennis Conger, 45, of Norman Park died Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, 2009, in Salem Memorial Gardens. Rev. Howard Tillery and Rev. Jimmy Voyles will officiate with burial to follow in Salem Memorial Gardens. Craig Baker, Joe Taylor, Jason Klaus, Robin Tillery, Lamar Brooks and Marvin Brooks will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals on Thursday, January 1, 2009, from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Mr. Conger was born on December 18, 1963 in Tift County and is survived by his father, Abe D. Conger and his step-mother, Elizabeth Conger of Norman Park. He is also survived by his mother, Joyce Ann Tillery of Lenox. He had lived most of his life in Colquitt County.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Conger is survived by two brothers and sister-in-law, Richard and Debbie Conger of Riverview, Florida and Allen Conger of Valdosta; one step-brother, Chip Klaus and wife Sheri of Moultrie; a nephew, Jason Klaus and wife Heather of Worth County; and a special cousin, Robin Tillery of Iron City.
