Obituary

Rosemarie R. Cox, 31, of Knapp Rd., Tilton, NH died Friday May 9, 2003 in Sanbornton, NH from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Rose was born in Syracuse, NY onNovember 16, 1971 the daughter of Thomas E. and Germaine M. (Schug) Cox. Rose had been a resident of Tilton for four months, formerly living in Londonderry. She was a member of St. Marks Church in Londonderry.

Rose brought laughter to others, connecting easily with people and touching the hearts of those who knew her. She lovedto sing and act and worked with the Nashua Actors/Singers in “Singing in the Rain” and with other groups in “Little Shop of Horrors” and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. She was an avid Nashua Pride fan and she spent many happy evenings enjoying baseball with her family. Rose loved the New Hampshire mountains and lakes,often hiking the trails of the lakes region. She recently took a position in Meredith so she could be closer to her beloved “North Country”. The laughter and sunshine Rose added to her family, friends and co-workers will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents of Londonderry, she is survived by her brother, Michael Cox of Derry, her sister, Laura Hulen of Shirley, MA, her paternal grandmother, Esther Cox of Penn Yan, NY, one niece and two nephews, one of which is her godson Gabriel Hulen.

Following cremation, a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 14th at 10:00am in St. Marks Church, corner of South Rd. and Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
