Obituary

Methuen, MA – Rita F. (Burns) Dumas, 86, died Monday December 29, 2008 at the family residence.
Born in Lawrence Rita was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was born the daughter of Frank and Mary (Boucher) Burns.
For many years Mrs. Dumas had been employed in Methuen as a sales girl with Fanny Farmer Candy.
She was a communicant of Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
Many enjoyments in life included roller skating, ice skating, and especially vacationing with her family at the beach in the summer months.

The widow of Felix J. Dumas she is survived by one daughter Gail P. Kenney of Methuen, a brother Francis Burns of Danville, NH, two grandchildren Deborah and her husband Raymond Quinn of Kingston, NH, and Susan and her husband Scott St. Pierre of Pelham, NH, greatgrandchildren Connor, Douglas, Sean, and Michael, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday morning in Saint Monica’s Church at 9 o’clock with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
