Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy L. (Atkinson) (Powers) Choquette, of Boxford, MA, formerly of North Andover, MA. passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, December 26th, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

She was born on April 18th, 1919 in North Andover, MA., daughter of the late Arthur and Doris Atkinson. She was the sister to the late Elizabeth Billings and Ruth Powers.

Dorothy was educated in the North Andover School System and was a graduate of Johnson High School. She was a parishioner of Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA., and worked some 20 plus years as the Secretary in the North Andover School Department.

She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother as well as a talented seamstress and excelled in the culinary arts. She also enjoyed gardening and knitting and was an avid reader.

Her daughter: Kathleen M. (Powers) and her husband Walter Feugill of Dracut, MA.
Her sons: Richard A. and his wife Nancy Powers of Methuen, MA.
Michael J. Powers of Boxford, MA
Thomas F. and his wife Melissa Powers of Methuen, MA.

She is also survived by 7 beautiful grandchildren:
Steven and Samantha Feugill, Sarah Laflamme, Thomas and Nathanael Powers, Corey and Tara Powers, and one great granddaughter: Mckaley Lynn Laflamme. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Her Stepsons: Albert Choquette of North Andover, MA. and Alfred Choquette of Kingston, NH

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA.

Burial will follow at the Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
