ROCKY MOUNT, VA – Daniel C. Bearce, formerly of Taunton, died in Rocky Mount, VA on Sunday, December 28, 2008.
He was 55.
Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Alfred Bearce and the late Rosemary (Connors) Bearce Smith.
A self-employed carpenter, he moved to the Rocky Mount area 8 years ago.
He leaves a son, Daniel Bearce Jr. and his wife Monica of Swansea; his stepfather, Norman E. “Eddy” Smith of Rocky Mount; 2 sisters, Dianne Batista and Dona Horton, both of Rocky Mount; a brother, David Smith; several nieces and nephews; and his 3 beloved dogs, Buster, P. J. and Three.
He was also the brother of the late Dennis Bearce.
A Graveside Service will be held at Titicut Cemetery, Plymouth St. Middleboro on Friday, Jan. 2nd at 12 Noon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours were held in Rocky Mount.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, for the care of Buster, P. J. and Three, to Dianne Batista, 1911 English Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
