Willie Mae Branne Scarboro Laminack, 82, of Tifton, formerly of Omega, died Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Golden Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Cecil Felts will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Michael Scarbor, Christopher Scarbro, Travas Gibbs, Terrell Ulm, Mark Fortson and Paul Fortson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ms. Laminack was born on December 22, 1926 in Okahumrey, Florida and was the daughter of Clarence S. Brannen and Maggie Coke Brannen, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Henry Scarboro; her second husband, Horace Leo Laminack; one son, Wayne Scarbor; one daughter, Marie Ulm; three brothers, Dalton Branne, Robert Branne and Buck Brannen; and one sister, Mary Luke. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Ms. Laminack is survived by one son, David Scarbor of Omega; three daughters, Darlene Turner ofd Tifton, Dorothy Fortson-Colvin of Ashburn, and Patsy Singletary of Omega.
