WORCESTER___Darin B. Retallic, 42 of Worcester, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 in St. Vincent Hospital, 123 Summer St.
He leaves his mother, Sandra Lucia and his step father, Ken Lucia of Worcester; four brothers, Mark Retallic, Scot Retallic, Todd Retallic and Shawn Freeman, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born and raised in Worcester.
Mr. Retallic was a machinist, concrete worker and roofer and worked for many years for area construction contractors. He was a graduate of Worcester Boy’s Trade High School. Darin enjoyed the outdoors and had a special love for fishing.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 31, with a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts Veterans Shelter, 69 Grove Street, Worcester, Ma., 01605. DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, is directing funeral arrangements.
