David Michael Lincoln, age 70, of Norwich, passed away Friday at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
He was born in Westerly on June 14, 1938 the son of C. Fred and Mary (Maxson) Lincoln. He attended the Wheeler School and Fitch Sr. High School.
Mr. Lincoln enjoyed a long career in the hardware business, retiring from Savage Supply Co. in Norwich.
He was a member of the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society in Stonington and the Workmen's Club, LLC in Norwich. In his spare time, Mr. Lincoln was also and avid hunter and enjoyed his annual hunting trips to Maine.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Lincoln and Kimberley Lincoln, both of Waterford, a son, Matthew Lincoln of North Stonington; 4 grandchildren, Mary Saczynski of Clinton, Emily Lincoln of Ledyard, Ryan Lincoln and Leah Doroski, both of Waterford; 2 great-grandchildren, Sean Beach and Adriahna Harkness; his siblings, Charles F. Lincoln of SC,, Peter M. and his wife Cynthia of Preston, and John Lincoln and his wife Andrea of Mexico, and many nieces and nephews.
His family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Tuesday from 5-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or a charity of the donor's choice.
