Obituary

Clinton- Lucy A (Zuromskis) Degutis 92 of 39 Auburn Street Clinton Mass. Died May 6th in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester medical Center.She was the wife of Peter Degutis who died in 1976. Mrs. Degutis is survived by her granddaughter and caregiver Adel A Sicard of Lancaster and a brother Joseph Zuromsky of Worcester, six other grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A son John Duggan of Millbury died in 1987 and a daughter Ruth A Freel of Clinton died in 2001. Two brothers Julius Zuromsky and John Zuromsky both of Worcester and two sisters Anna Ethier and Mary Zalieckas both of Worcester predeceased her.She was born in Worcester a daughter of William and Anastasia (Rameika) Zuromskis.

She was educated in Worcester Schools and later was the owner operator of the former Snappy Cleaners then located on Harrison Street for thirty years, before retiring in 1971. She lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Clinton thirteen years ago.

Mrs. Degutis was a member of Saint Casimir's Parish.

The funeral will be held on Saturday May 10th from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home 33 Ward Street Worcester with a Mass at 10am in Saint Casimir Church 41 Providence Street Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Worcester.Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:30 prior to the Mass on Saturday may 10th.The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to either VNACare Network 120 Thomas Street Worcester Mass. 01608 or to Momtachusett Home Care Corporation, Crossroads Office Park 690 Mechanic Street Leominster Mass. 01453.
