Joachina “Jackie” (Luiz Rego) Shattuck, age 90 of Swansea since 1971. Passed away in Somerset, December 23, 2008. She was the loving wife of Charles W. Shattuck. Born in Slatersville, RI, the daughter of the late Jose Luiz Rego & Levia (Rapoza) Luiz Rego. Before retiring, she was a Machine Operator at Schnyerson’s for 10 years, and then she worked for Bomar Inc. for 19 years.
Besides her husband of Swansea, she is survived by: 1 Daughter: Jacqueline Dube & her husband Gerald of Coventry, CT; 3 grandsons: Robert Dube, Randall & Kimberly Dube, & Russell & Susan Dube; 2 great granddaughters; Close Niece: Priscilla Cabral of Swansea & also several nieces & nephews.
Her PRIVATE funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA. PRIVATE Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Donations may be made to Am. Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
