Obituary

MANCHESTER-Beatrice A. (Lanoie) Savoie, died December 26, 2008 at Hanover Hill Health Center after a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on September 20, 1920 the daughter of Adelard and Cordelia (Pellerin) Lanoie and had been a lifelong resident of this city. She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School.
She was a member of the Dames de St. Anne of St. Anthony Parish. She was the Booking Coordinator for Marriage Encounter for several years. For many years was a foster mother for Catholic Charities.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, handwork projects and working in her flower garden.
She was predeceased by her husband Raoul Savoir in 1990.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes one daughter Eveline Provencher and her husband Roger of Bedford, two sons, Donald Savoie and his wife Lorraine of Merrimack, Paul Savoie and his wife Jacquelyn of Spring Hill, FL, nine grandchildren, Marc, Carol, Paul, Donna, Peter, Andre, Philip, Keith and Mary Kathryn: eleven greatgrandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, Hannah, Anna, Jack, Alexandria, Alison, Abby, Samantha, Emma and Dylan. One sister Emma Martin of Halifax, MA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by one sister and 5 brothers.
SERVICES:Calling hours will be Monday from 3 to 7 PM at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Anthony Church. 172 Belmont St. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to NH Catholic Charities, 153 Ash Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
