Raymond Gazaille, 65, of Sherman Ave., Cumberland, died Sunday, December 14th, at home. He was the former husband of Doris V. (Daigle) Gazaille of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Aime and Yvonne (Pellerin) Gazail. He was raised in Woonsocket and resided in Cumberland for over 15 years.
Mr. Gazaille was the former owner of Doray Industries in Woonsocket.
Raymond was an active volunteer with Because He Lives Ministries in Woonsocket. He enjoyed reaching out to others through his work in the soup kitchen.
In addition to his former wife, he is survived by a son Raymond A. Gazaille of Woonsocket, a grandson Jeffrey Gazaille of CA., two brothers, Maurice Gazaille of ME, and Robert Gazaille of TX., four sisters, Cecile Rounding of Toronto, Canada, Sr. Aline Gazaille, SCSH of St. Hyacinthe, P.Q. Canada, Denise Pelletier of South Attleboro, and Shirley Gazaille of North Attleboro. He was the brother of the late Roland Gazaille, Rhea Bouthilette, Mariette Rosenquist, Marie-Ange Daigle, Marie-Jeanne Caron, and Dora Valade. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Visiting hours will be Friday from 9:00-11:00 am prior to the service.
