Lawrence, MA – Blanche I. (Simard) Denis, 92, died Sunday December 21, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at the Wingate At Andover.
Mrs. Denis was born in Dracut daughter of Henry and Ida (Labrie) Denis.
Blanche received her education in the Lowell School System.
For many years, Blanche worked in Billerica, and Methuen at the former Almy’s Department Store and her occupation was in Sales.
Among her interests she belonged to Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish’s Rainbow Club.
A resident of Lawrence Mrs. Denis was the former wife of Paul B. Connell, and was the widow of Robert B. Denis.
She is survived by children:Carol A. and her husband Robert E. Boileau of Andover, Shirley J. and her husband William D. Tierney of Bolton, MA, her son Jeffrey P. and his wife Cindy Denis, of Carlisle, PA, one sister Anita Karafelis of Boxford, a brother Rene Simard, 7 grandchildren, 8 greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Blanche was predeceased by her son, Robert A. Denis.
Funeral Services will take place Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
