Pasquale A. “Pat” “Snuffy” Malvone, 80 of Medford, died Saturday after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for the past 65 years and was formerly of the North End of Boston. He was the son of the late Pasqualina (Greco) and Antonio Malvone. Mr. Malvone was a press operator and truck driver for the Charles T. Main Company in Boston for many years and retired in 1993. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. Pasquale was a member of the Medford ITAM Post 8. Beloved husband of the late Rose (Barletta) Malvone. Brother of Louis Malvone of York Beach, ME, Palmina Bath, Rose Breen, Mary Liaso all of Florida, and the late Leonard Malvone, Angelina Conti, and Margaret Bruno. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Late U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
