FALL RIVER … Geraldine A. (Avalino) Stewart, 75, of Fall River died Tuesday December 16, 2008 after a long illness.
She was born in Boston daughter of the late John Reed and the late Irene Avalino and had lived in Fall River most of her life. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a case manager at Corrigan Mental Health Center. She enjoyed art and gardening. She served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include 3 sons: Neal Stewart, Lee Stewart and Daniel Carvalho all of Fall River, 3 brothers: Raymond Hautman of Fairfield CA, Kenneth Hautman of West Barnstable MA, and Rodney Reed of Fall River, 2 sisters: Carolyn Reed Tobey of West Barnstable MA and Janice Gonsalves of Fall River, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Sunday at 8 PM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Calling hours Sunday 4 – 8 PM.
