DRACUT - Joseph R. Goodwin, 36, of Dracut, died Tuesday morning December 16, 2008 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center, Burlington.
Born in Stoneham on July 18, 1972 he was a son of David Saulnier of Dracut and the late Patricia (King) Saulnier. He received his education in the Stoneham school system.
Mr. Goodwin had been employed as a retail sales clerk.
In his free time he enjoyed writing poetry, collecting Star Trek science fiction memorabilia and he had a passion for cooking.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister Bobbi-Jo Goodwin of Maine; two brothers and one sister-in-law Timothy and Jessica Saulnier of McGuire AFB, NJ and Christopher Saulnier USMC of Hawaii; his maternal grandfather Robert King of Derry, NH and his uncle Steven King also of Derry, NH.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. It being his wish calling hours have been omitted. His committal service will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Chapel of Memories at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Relatives and friends invited.
